Nautica & The Sea Cadets

Completed

This beautiful and modern development is situated directly on the bank of the River Avon. The scheme brings the redevelopment of the Bath Sea Cadets facility on the ground floor.

Since 1946, the City of Bath Sea Cadets, a long-established unit in the Sea Cadet Corps, has given young people the opportunity to go out to sea, learn to sail, row and canoe and do adventure training, as well as acquire life skills to get a head start in life. the new facility will provide bespoke accommodation for the Sea Cadets’ administrative, tuition and training needs, including male and female showers and wardroom facilities.

The development will also provide 18 studio apartments for postgraduate students on the upper floors of the building.

Bath Sea Cadets’ long-standing Victorian headquarters needed major upgrade and renovation works to make it fit for purpose. Iesis helped bring this out-dated building back to life and up to modern standards by creating a practical Cadets facility on the ground floor, as well as 18 new studio apartments for post-graduates on the upper floors.
